Did you know I like Darkrai? Cool.
Do you want to read a bunch of infodumping about it?
No? There's the back button.

Darkrai's signature move, Dark Void, initially had an accuracy rate of 80%, making it one of the best status-inducing move in competitive play (especially with Darkrai's signature ability, Bad Dreams, which reduces the opponent's HP by 1/8 while they're asleep while Darkrai is in the field); however, this was only the case until Pokemon Black/White, and the generation after the accuracy was reduced to 70%. The following generations only nerfed Dark Void even further, and now it only has an accuracy rate of 50%. The reason for this is not because of Darkrai, but because of Smeargle, who can use its move Sketch to permanently copy any move into its moveset; because Darkrai can't be used in competition since it's a Mythical Pokemon, people put Dark Void on Smeargle instead in competitive play, and it became so broken and overused that the creators nerfed Darkrai not because of Darkrai, but because of Smeargle.

I think this is extremely homophobic, to me, specifically.
